A Workshop on Introductory Python for Text Mining

Join us for a hands-on workshop designed to introduce participants to the basics of Python for text mining. Whether you are new to Python or looking to expand your skills, this workshop will guide you through the fundamentals of text preprocessing, analysis, and visualization. Using real-world examples and interactive exercises. 

Participants will learn:

- Basic Python programming with emphasis on text manipulation

- Essential text mining techniques and tools

- Methods for cleaning and analyzing textual data

- Practical applications

No programming experience is required, but familiarity with basic computing concepts is helpful. Participants will participate in hands-on activities and leave with starter code for their own projects. All disciplines welcome!

Prerequisites: Participants bring their laptops. Installation instructions will be provided before the workshop.
